Error validating the Data source: Wrong Local header signature: 0xE011CFD0

I am getting this error whentrying to import from an excel file

not sure where to start.

I have removed all suspect characters and spaces in the header line in the import.

What else could be causing it?

Hi Rich,

Can you open the file in Excel? What version of Excel are you using?

The Excel file opens ok.

I then saved it as 97 - 2003

It has frozen panes

When I saved it as CSV I could start the import

just set so when you scroll the top row stays in view

Maybe the Excel component doesn't support that. If you upload a plain normal excel file, is that working?
