    Wrong Local header signature

    Hello,

I purchased the CMS Import license last night as I was having issues trying to import with CSV files and thought I would be able to import straight from Excel without exporting to CSV first. When I try and do this I get the error:

Error validating the Data source: Wrong Local header signature: 0xE011CFD0

I have tried this on several spreadsheets, even one that simply has 3 columns, with headers and 2 rows with very little data in it and still get the issue.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Kenny

    Hi Kenny,

Does the Excel file have frozen panes or anything like that? If so, try just a plain Excel file without any advanced stuff and see if that works.

    Hi Kenny,

What Dan says and I had an issue reported last week where xls had issues and xlsx didn't. Can you save as xslx and see if that helps?

Thanks and sorry for having the difficult start.

    Best,

    Richard

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for the reply. I tried everything,no frozen panes or anything like that and tried xls and xlsx but nothing seemed to work, even with a simple spreadsheet. Not sure what the issue was.

After a while of trying I was eventually was able to get it all exported to CSV though and imported that way.

Can try again tonight and let you know the results -

    Kenny

    Hi Kenny,

In that case I am very interested in the excel sheet. If you like to share it [email protected] please.

    Thanks,

    Richard
