Is it possible to have CMSImport import files/images from a folder structure rather than dumping all of the files into a single folder, which for a large site quickly becomes unmanageable?
If this is possible can you let me know how you configure CMSImport to allow this, if not is this something that can be added?
Yes that’s possible. In the media config you can configure a alternative root folder and you can use folder names etc as long as long as the referenced path in the content can be found on disk. So the following file will work
Sorry but I do not understand how I can import media content in my project.
I have imported all content type but now I need to import from another umbraco all media into my project.
how can I do that? and Is it possible import macros?
When I go into CMS impot I can not see any options to import Media.
It's only importing media related to content. Macro etc is also not possible. Better check the video how to import media related to content. If you which to restructure the above media library Bulkmanager can help with that.

Hi Graham,
Yes that’s possible. In the media config you can configure a alternative root folder and you can use folder names etc as long as long as the referenced path in the content can be found on disk. So the following file will work
/rootfolder/somefolder/somesubfolder/media.png
Hope this helps,
Richard

Hey, you might be able to get something out of this package.
No export yet, though.
