Great package. One very minor addition that I would welcome would be the ability to define a text indicator for CSV files that isn't one of the predefined values (single quote, double quote, none). I have content to import littered with single and double quotes, and the import keeps falling over when it hits them. I would like to be able to choose a diffferent text indicator (e.g. ^) which doesn't appear in the content.
Not a huge problem - I'll import the csv into SQL server and then import it in from there.
Great suggestion. If V2 wasn't almost feature complete I would have added it directly, now i will add it to the next V2 service release.. I will add the option "other" to the pulldown and when you select that option you can specify your own options, Great that you have a work around for now.
The release date was 2 months ago :-(. But it's currently in its final stage of development, Then I send it out to existing customers for beta test and after that it will be released, I'm aiming for a week or 2.
editable text indicator for CSV files
Hi Ricjhard,

Looking forward to v2.

Hi James,
Might be nice to know that V2 PRO supports import from Excel directly. Ony thing needed is that you install this Microsoft driver
Cheers,
Richard.
That's great, thankyou Richard.
Is there a release date for V2 yet?
James.
