    JSON support

I can't even begin to describe how much it would rock if CMSImport supported JSON data. With so many online services exposing JSON data we would be able to import content, images and products from exiting platforms like Shopify, Pinterest, Wordpress, Contentful and many others.

The web is running JSON when will CMSImport join?

    Hi Mathias,

It's on the radar but JSON is a bit harder to handle than XML and xpath that's why it's never implemented. If you have ideas about that I would love to hear :)

    Best,

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for the fast reply .

I have little insight on that matter and no ideas on how to make it work.

It's good to know you have it on your radar and I really hope to see it in an update not to far away :)

Being able to make scheduled import of image/post data from Instagram/pinterest, product data from Shopify, content from webservices like contentful etc. would mean we would be able to sell CMSImport to a hole new segment of clients.

Have a nice day and thanks for CMSImport (it rocks)!

    Best,

    Mathias

Richard, there are some good equivalent Jsonpath for c# alternatives like https://bitbucket.org/gregsdennis/manatee.json/wiki/Path

    Try it out @ https://jsonpath.curiousconcept.com
