Not sure if this is cmsimport issue or umbraco issue, but i am doing import from another cms that has field update date. I have mapped the field to umbraco update date field. i then run the import however the update date is set to date and time import was run. I suspect that the field is mapped but when document is saved the update date is automatically set to time of save as it is an update that is being made?
I can confirm this is a bug, when I attach an event after the document is imported/saved and use the original data it works. I'll release a service Update next week which solves this and a few other small issues, regarding the Event System.
The whole update date didn;t make sense because when publishing it got overwritten in the xml by date of last publish anyway. So I removed it for the current release.
