    CMSImport questions

    Hi There,

    I'd like to purchase your product but I have a few questions before I do.

    What is the difference between the domain licence and the ip licence? Currently I have a site that is not ready for production, but it has an ip address. I'd like to save some money by using the domain licence for this site. Will the domain licence work for this? given that the domain has not yet been delegated to the server?

    Will the import work with the following version of Umbraco?

    umbraco v 4.7.0 (Assembly version: 1.0.4090.38017)

    Hi Sean,

    Thanks for your interest in CMSImport. CMSImport will work on 4.7.0. The difference between a domain and IP license is thta you can use a Domain license for a single domain and IP for a whole server.

    You can also enter an IP address as domain (http:://201.88.22.33/) You can specify a  development, staging and production domain. In your case it might be an ideau to set the IP address as staging and the real domain as the production domain so it will also work when the domain is assigned to the server.
