    Will import content create duplicate nodes?

    Using CMSImport

    Hi!

    I have a csv files with member data.

    I would like to extract the company data of each member and create content (not members).

    But a lot of the members have the same company and I'm afraid that CMS Import will create duplicate company nodes if I use it. I use the Company name as node name.

    I havent tried it yet. Wanted to hear if om right in my conclusion? Or will CMS Import skip duplicate nodes?

    Hi,

    So you only want to import the companies, not the member data itself? But skipping and updating of records is only supported in the pro version. You can specify the primary key in your case the company name and then records will be automatically skipped during the import but sorry not in the free version.
