I'm running Umbraco 4.10 and CMSImport Pro 2.2.1 and am importing from WordPress. There are approximately 275 pages in the WordPress file but only 25 are coming through into Umbraco. Unfortunately I know nothing at all about WordPress and can't say whether there's anything "special" about the export file. Is 25 a magic number in CMSImport or does it just happen to be stopping there?
It seems to have grabbed some sequential entries in the middle of the file and I can't see what's different about these ones. I really have no idea where to start with troubleshooting this. Sorry about the lack of detail, but any ideas?
Are the 25 ones blogpost and the other ones normal pages? CMSImport can only hande blogposts. If you can send me the file [email protected] then I can have a look if you want.
Thanks Richard. You're right; the 25 are <wp:post_type>post</wp:post_type> and the others are <wp:post_type>page</wp:post_type>. I've done a mass replace of page -> post and it seems to have imported almost everything now (tables haven't come through but they don't seem to be in the original file so I can't blame your tool for that!)
Import stopping after 25 items
