I just installed CMSImport on umbraco version 6.1.6 and I'm having an issue where p tags (the default ones that the RTE generates) aren't displaying using the auto-publish option. I'm pulling the data from an rss/xml feed. When you view source there are no tags wrapped around the text, yet when you view the html in the RTE the tags are there, and if you save and publish the node the tags appear fine then. Is there a configuration that i am missing or is there something else going on here?
Does the source you are importing from include those? If so they might be encoded and clicking the green + sign on the RTE mapping field should show you the Force HTML decode .
If it's not in the source then I'm afraid it's only added via the UI since CMSImport is using the normal Umbraco API to assign the value. Maybe the event system can help in that case to add the

Hi Owen,
Does the source you are importing from include those? If so they might be encoded and clicking the green + sign on the RTE mapping field should show you the Force HTML decode .
If it's not in the source then I'm afraid it's only added via the UI since CMSImport is using the normal Umbraco API to assign the value. Maybe the event system can help in that case to add the
tag.
Best,
Richard
Thanks Richard, I kind of thought that might be the case.
