I have been running CMS import for a number of weeks using the excellent 'Scheduled Imports' feature. However, I went on holiday last week and noticed that all of my imports stopped running half way through the week and did not run again until I manually requested the following URL:

'/umbraco/plugins/CMSImport/Handlers/ScheduleTaskHandler.ashx'

At which point, they all began running again.

I'd just like to ask if this is likely to be related to an application pool timeout or something similar?

I'm considering writing a script to 'wake up' the application shortly before the schedules are due to run as they are all run in the early hours of the morning when my website is not used.

Any information you could provide around how the scheduler works during periods of limited website activity would be greatly appreciated.
