I'm using CMS Import Pro 2.5.2 in Umbraco v7.1.4
Should I be able to see the "Import Definitions" menu?
This is what I see...
Hi John,
After you first save you should see it.
Hope this helps,
Richard
aaah but I want to create a child definition for my first import
i'll do something small & deletable first :)
it is nice and slick in v7 though, a nice experience
You can only have a child definition on a parent :) So you need to save the parent first then you can create a child definition. Thanks for V7 compliment!
I know you're not short of new ideas for CMS Import :) but
It might be nice to be able to skip import and go straight to save.
Also would be handy to be able to save a definition (including it's child) and add that.
I'm testing in a scratch version and then will do the import on the real thing when I'm happy that it works ok.
Ooops sorry - just seen that save button appears before final next.
Yup :) Will be a big green button in the next release.
I think I read that discussion.
CMS Import just *keeps* getting better :)
I do wonder if the final step should say "Finish" or "Import" rather than "Next"
I've been caught out by that a few times, and prematurely imported.
In V3 it is Import indeed. Loads of UX issues will be solved there, hope to release within a month or 2.
is working on a reply...
