So I moved further. I think the mistake was in location path. I just moved the Site to the C:/ root.
Now I get the following Error:
Error validating the Data source: The Microsoft Office Access database engine cannot read the data in Land. The minimum required version to read the data is 14.0.0000.0000.
..I think I collect all the errors before I get it worked ))
Error validating the Data source: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine
Hi there!
when I am trying to import the access database on my local machine, I get the following error:
Error validating the Data source: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine
What is wrong?
Thanks kollege!
Hi,
Access requires a server component being installed on the server check page 49 troubleshooting of the manual please
http://soetemansoftware.nl/cmsimport/downloads
Best,
Richard
Thanks, it works!
But now, after I did it I got the following Error:
Error validating the Data source: Unrecognized database format 'C:\Users\......\app_data\cmsimport\68ac0aab-724c-49fd-bf89-ed2c25ca5b0f_Sprach.accdb'
The fact is that the same access file is being importing without problems on the hosting website.
I didn't an apropriate troubleshooting in the manual.
thanks
Maybe the database is open in another app? And did you set 32 bits enabled on IIS and did you reboot after that?
Yes I did. 32 bits enabled, rebooted, so DB shouldn't be opened in any other process.
So I moved further. I think the mistake was in location path. I just moved the Site to the C:/ root.
Now I get the following Error:
Error validating the Data source: The Microsoft Office Access database engine cannot read the data in Land. The minimum required version to read the data is 14.0.0000.0000.
..I think I collect all the errors before I get it worked ))
any idea on this one?
By google the error message it's about a higher version of access. I think the version mentioned in the manuals was for office 2007 but there is a higher version also http://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=13255
Hope this helps,
Richard
That's it. Solved.
thanks
