    Import to SEO CHecker

Is there any way to import old meta data (stored in separate fileds) into the SEOChecker datatype?

    Hi Barry,

There is no provider for that but SEO Checker can also work with seperate fields if you configure that on the SEOChecker datatype then you can map title and description separately.

    Cheers,

This is a real shame. If we import to separate fields then we'll lose the snippet preview and max length I presume?

Is there a way to copy the data from custom fields over to the SEO Checker's after the import, so that this can be achieved in a two step process?

No there is now way cmsimport can import to the seochecker datatype but as mentioned above you can create separate title and description fields and then map those fields in the datatype. then you can import title and description tags to those separate fields.

    Hope this helps,

    Richard

Ta. In the end I mapped the fields to temporary fields, I then used the ContentService to edit the JSON of the SEO Checker properties.
