    import members - import group membership

    Using CMSImport

    hi richard

    i am importing a number of users from a previous site. 

    the roles are already in a pipe-seperated field for each member.

    is there any way i can import that data rather than using the default auto-role functionality provided?

    basically, i am hoping that i can replace the current role info with comma seperated node ids and import.

    could this work??

    Hi Fergus,

    I'm affraid that you have to assign role manually for each group. Might be a nice feature for a future release though. That said I really want to keep the import process as simple as possible without asking to much info before import. Maybe I'll add an advanced settings tab on each import step that can be used for this kind of functionality. Just thinking out loud here
