    Using existing images for CMS Import

    We are using CMS Import for a repeating import of data from an external database. Each entry has a logo associated. On the initial import, all logos were imported and created in umbraco, but for subsequent images we don´t want to give the client direct acccess to the webserver.

    Can the customer upload new images (we´re talking about 1-2 every other month) in the CMS and only reference them in the Excel for the import?

    Hi Gerhard,

    CMSImport can only import that have a reference on disk and only knows relations with media items if they were imported with cmsimport.

    But I think yo can use the CMSImport Dashboard control where your client can upload a zip file with the new logo's so you don't have to give them access.
