    Do I need a new licence for Umbraco 7?

    Using CMSImport

    Hi

    We currently have an Umbraco 6.1.6 site using cmsImport.

    We are in the process of working out what's required to upgrade it to Umbraco 7.
    With regard to CMS Import, will we need a new licence or can we carry across the licence we already have?

    Hi Bex,

    Depends on the version you are using of CMSImport. if it's older than 3 you need a new one if you are using a server/unlimited version. You can upgrade in your profile.

    But if you are using a domain license that one should always work.

    That's great. We have a domain licence and currently have 3.1.2.

    We'll probably be rebuilding (rather than upgrading as such) to Umbraco 7 so do we just copy across the lic file and install a new version of cmsImport?
