CMSImport PRO: How to import content tree from Umbraco 6 to Umbraco 7?

I wish to import the content tree from A to B. I'm able to import all A nodes, but in flat manner. I with to have the A tree into B.

Have you checked the recursive import option and maybe you can use child imports?

    Hope this helps,

    Richard

    Hi,

I'm using version 3.7.7 and I can't see the recursive import option. Has this been removed or have I missed something?

Is there a way to import the entire content tree in one go or are only child imports supported?

    Thanks

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

When you use the Umbraco dataprovider Recursive options is enabled by default since the dataprovider knows about the structure.

Entire content tree is not possible indeed you need to set the child definitions as well since CMSImport is a generic import tool instead of an Umbraco import tool.

    Hope this answers your question.

    Best,

    Richard
