Errors when Migrating Wordpress Content XML To Umbraco using CMSImport

    Hi,

I'm trying to import content from a client's wordpress site into Umbraco using CMSImport with the CMSImport Wordpress Dataprovider.

    Current setups:

    • Umbraco v7.12.4
    • CMSImport PRO 3.7.6
    • CMSImport Wordpress DataProvider v3.3.0
    • Wordpress v4.4.2

I'm able to upload the XML file to CMSImport, but when I click "Next" there is two possible outcomes:

    • An error shows saying the "Wordpress file has no data"

      or

    • It allows me to the Mapping section, but alot of the properties in the WordPress XML are missing, meaning I'm unable to map these across.

Any advice on how I could go about fixing this issue, or a workaround for this would be much appreciated.

    Hi Karl,

Could be that Wordpress export format changed again. Would it be possible to send me the export ([email protected]) Then I will have a look and I will delete the file afterwards.

    Thanks,

    Richard
