Release is not that far away. The base framework is done and working. Screenshot below might explain a few things.
Not only content can be managed, but also media members and in the future a lot of new things.
When you open the page it will display the default criteria but you can add (using the plus sign) extra criteria and remove criteria using the delete button. In a future release it will also be possible to disable search in properties.
Bulk actions will be a lot more and copy is on the list, also change doctype.
By default the following fields are shown. It will be possible to add/remove fields. So you can add url for example and it will show the url. I've also plans to make the fields a bit more advanced so that I can support the request you had for a tooltip to show on the document title. and show an image when the property is an image.
It's coming really soon maybe not all options are implemented in V1.0 will follow soon after V1 in that case. And all will work in V7 also :)
This sounds really outstanding and both the development community and Umbraco editors will be indebted to you for this updated package which greatly enhances Umbraco. I'm not sure if I could even manage my sites w/out CMDP.
@Richard S - one other feature that would be great is to be able to display more than 100 items on a search query, in fact, allow the display of any number of items configurable in the interface. Is that possible?
You can check-out the video's and download the free edition. The free edition allows you to bulk update content, bulk updating media and members is supported in the licensed version. I'm more than happy to give you a trial.
Hope you like V1 and more features such as bulk change document type coming up soon.
Checking on Update and Several Feature Requests
Is there an update coming which also handles the media library?

There is paging with a display records option and with an "All" option that will show all records. Release really soon :)
Where do I send the bottle of Dom Perignon? :)
It will be a freemium package so not all options are free.. Same as with CMSImport
@Richard - how does it look now in terms of a new release?
Still really soon, early summer I think. Was kind of snowed under the last few weeks. sorry about that.
@Richard Will you please post something when you have released the product?
Yes I will post the link with all the info here.
Hi Richard,
Finally I think the product is good enough for a V1. I've already added Bulkmanager to the site http://soetemansoftware.nl/bulkmanager
