I am looking into using this package for a client of mine and have some questions. Any help greatly appreciated.
we have a dev domain on xxxx.local and staging on xxxx.id-staging.com in addition to the production domain. How many licenses do we need? What would be the cost like?
We are on Umbraco v6. Is the package compatible with the Umbraco version
Normally you need only one if you have a subdomain for development and another for stage. The only problem is that I have not tested it on Umbraco v6... Have you downloaded the trial to see if everything is ok with this extension and Umbraco v6? If you have a subdomain starting with dev. or stage. or test. you can use it without a license....
I have not downloaded it yet. I amabout to though. My local and staging environments are on a totally different domain which means that I need to look at a different license? I can also check how easy would it be to set up subdomains for staging/dev. When you mean subdomain startign with stage. do you mean the url looks like stage.site-name.site-domain.com?
If you have 2 or more domains maybe you would be better with an IP license....
The subdomain stage.site-name.site-domain.com seems just fine for testing yes!
