LinqToUmbraco Revisited

Do you want to use static typing with your Umbraco? Do you want to keep on using the awesome workflow that was LinqToUmbraco? Then this is the project for you.

It started out as a way to continue to use LinqToUmbraco after its removal from the core, so in essence it is still that. However, large chunks have been since rewritten.

Note: if you are using an umbraco version before the removal, remember to delete umbraco.Linq.Core.dll first.

Update:

This will now work with Umbraco 4.10. The exporting of doctypes has just been moved into a dashboard section under developer.

Changes so far from the original fork:

• Much much faster
• Path now works
• Improved cache flushing, now works also on sorting events
• Dashboard section for exporting doctypes
• Stats of the caching in the dashboard
• Media cache! Just grab your media by id, and it will be cached for the next request.
• Find/Findall
• Currentpage
• Url as a property, no need to type umbraco.library.NiceUrl
• Other stuff I can't remember and fixed bugs
