Your code did't work for me before I've added ?page= into links
Also I added ancor and link to it, so after page refresh visitor goes directly to list and where is no need to scroll all content before it
Well, this XSLT asumes you add, for example in your news section, /news/X to the URLRewrite module...
So you'll get /news/1 and /news/2 :) Instead of the ugly '?page='
May be you will update discription with information about need of urlRewriting?
