    robots.txt disappears in back office

Hi, I've installed this package via the packages in the back office in umbraco. I'm running 7.5.13. I noticed that out of no where the robots.txt file disappears in the back office (the robot logo file). I uninstalled things, then installed via nuget hoping this would fix things...no luck, same issue - it disappears. Not sure how to get it back.

    Hi Bobi,

I haven't experienced that scenario myself. It does seem strange that the Robots.txt Editor node disappears from the tree.

Can you confirm if the Robots.txt Editor is referenced in the /config/trees.config file ... and if the /bin/Our.Umbraco.RobotsTxtEditor.dll exists?

    Thanks,
    - Lee

Hi, thanks for the reply. I missed this somehow. I'll take a look.

If those don't exist, what's the simplest way to add them back (perhaps without uninstalling)?

    Hi Lee,

    The Our.Umbraco.Tree.RobotsTxt.dll exists under /bin.

The Robots.txt Editor is not referenced in trees.config. What exactly should I add?

    Thanks :)

    Hi Bobi,

I'm not sure why it's not appearing in the trees.config file.

For what to add, see my reply on another thread, it has an example code snippet.

    Cheers,
    - Lee
