Calling a rest extension with no parameters doesn't seem to work anymore like it did in the video.
According to the video, I should be able to call [Alias:MethodName]
Instead I have to call [Alias:MethodName(null)]

Thanks for the feedback. I haven't re-tested/confirm it yet, but it does sound like a bug!
I have opened a ticket over on the source-code repo: https://bitbucket.org/vertino/shortcodes-for-umbraco/issue/1/rest-extension-with-no-parameters
I will look into it when I get the chance, (I've got a few other OSS committments at the moment: 4.8 core, uComponents, etc). Unless you are interested in diving into the codebase yourself? ;-)
