I installed the latest package on a dev site running Umbraco 4.6.1 and ASP.Net framework 4. There were no errors in the log, but no Standard Values folder appears.
Any chance you'll be updating to support the latest Umbraco version soon? I'd love to use this package.
Never mind, after updating the web.config and reloading the application the Standard Values directory shows up in the Settings Tree. I did notice that the confirmation page noted an error updating the English language files during the installation.
Yes, I'm aware of the problems and i'm working with Jan Skovgaard to upgrade the package to work with Umbraco 4.6 and newer and to not fail during install ;) It'll be a couple of weeks before the package hits the streets as I have another project that I have to finish first.
PS: If you are using nested Doc Types you will most likely run into some more issues.

I have the same problem
The package did not appear, and I also got the english language file error
I just installed v1.6 in Umbraco v6.
No errors but I did have to touch the web.config to get the new tree item to appear in .Settings'.
"touch the web.config" means make a minor change like add a space then saving it.
It causes the app pool to recycle.
is working on a reply...
