The standard true/false datatype in umbraco is a checkbox, which is checked or unchecked - this works out of the box. If you check the checkbox (i.e. Hide in Navigation) on the standard value it will be checked when you create your document. So no need to create $true$ / $false$ keys unless you are referring to other usecases?
If you have supplied prevalues for your checkbox-, radiobutton- or dropdownlists you will able to select your standard or default value for your document type. So again already possible unless you are thinking of something else.
Sorry I haven't seen your comment in this thread before now.
I haven't actually looked into standard values within the media section, but I guess it could be possible - just have to the find the right events to tab into.
I will be updating this package to support Umbraco 4.5 very soon, so I'll use this oppotunity to have a look at the media section and get back to you on this one.
Default value for other datatypes?
This is a great package.
Would it also be possible to add
Regards,
Nico
