So I assume you are running this in list view mode? And SortColumn = "ActivityStartTime", SortOrder = "desc" should be the initial sort of the list view?
Looks like it is just something that isn't implemented currently (but won't be hard) the sortcolum and sortorder will affect the rendering of the tree not the listview so something I forgot
Changes pushed, new version is building (for the dates seems someone from the community has created a filter option for that, so asked them to submit a pull request)

Tim, right on the spot, thats what we are trying to do. Also in another matter we are trying have one view that only lists todays bookings.
