We've just purchased a uSync Complete licence for a project. The project is deployed via TeamCity so I don't want to apply the licence via the web interface since the next deployment will just wipe that out. I can't seem to find anything in the documentation specifying how/where I would add the relevant values to config file(s) though. Can you clarify where I can add my licence information for me please?
One further question: we've bought the licence for the public-facing domain (ie, "www.abc.com"). But we have a development, staging and UAT domains for the same project which are used in the development/approval process. These use a different domain structure of "dev-xyz.com", "uat-xyz.com" etc. It's the same project and the same codebase but the domains differ across all four deployed environments. How can I apply the project licence purchased under a single domain to all four of the project domains?
when you enter the licence key on any Umbraco installation it will create a usync.licence.config file containing the licence info in the /config folder of the site.
if you include this file in any deployments then the licence will persist on all Umbraco installations deployed from that source.
we can add the extra domains to the licence for you, if you want to send me an email ([email protected]) with the details of the current licence and the state/dev domains you need i can do that.
