    Is it possible to save uSync export to folder outside website root

    I would like to save the uSync folder to a website outside of the root but am not sure whether it's possible.

    I have tried setting the path to the following 

    <Folder>../~/uSync/v8/</Folder>

    However I get the error 

    Invalid uSync folder "../~/uSync/v8/". Folders outside root require AllowUnsafe setting in config.

    The message suggests it is possible if the AllowUnsafe setting is set, however I don't know what config file it should be added to.

    Is it possible to save uSync exports outside the root of the website (ideally without using an absolute path). Or where do I need to add the AllowUnsafe config value.

    Hi,

    Looks like you're using version 8, but I'm not sure which version, so assuming you're using a version greater than 8.7.2 than this link should have the info you need:

    Thanks for this.

    It is V8.7.2 I'm using so that documentation applies. Had to use the absolute path but it will solve the issue.
