We're in the process of evaluating Umbraco 8 now that it's been released. One of the main packages we use in our standard setup for v7 is uSync as it really helps streamline our workflows and deployments. Thanks so much for such a great package!
We notice in the packages area of the Umbraco 8 instance we spinned up that uSync is listed. Also, on the Our page for uSync we can see this was uploaded recently: uSync8_8.0.0-beta.1.zip
However, Nuget still lists v4.0.10 as the latest stable.
I realise this is still early days, but can you give any indication about the status of the v8 version - have you got a roadmap in place for when it might be released? I had a look on the github page but couldn't see anything specific there.
I'll install the beta package now and give it a whirl, and feed back anything we can. But if you have any idea about a likely release timeframe that'd help us immensely with our migration plans.

It's all about time at the moment, we have worked with the pre-releases to get a head start, but we still need to fit development into our work schedule to finalise things.
Testing the feeding back on the beta will help - as it will target our development.
We haven't done exhaustive testing, but we installed uSync8_8.0.0-beta.1 via the nuget -pre command, made some doctype edits on first copy of the site, moved the usync generated text files to a second copy of the v8 site, and doctype changes were imported as expected.
So initial results are good!
We noticed that the config has been refined / reduced in this version, is there anything we should know or look for in particular?
