    Are publish server specific user groups permissions working?

    uSync.Complete
    Umbraco 8

    Hey Kevin,

    Just having a play around with Complete and am really impressed! :)

    I don't seem to be getting the "Publish to..." option, in the context menu, for a user which is a member of a group added in the publish config though...

    Does the user need specific permissions or is there something else I'm missing?

    Hi Andy

    yeah almost - the groups also need to be assigned the Umbraco permissions to see the actions :

    this is in the group within the user section of Umbraco.

    this is what determines if the button will be put in the menu at all.

    the user groups option is then used to evaluate how many of the servers are shown in the dialog.

    (but this is a good point, I think for a future version We might automatically tick these Umbraco boxes when a group is added to a server)
