Hi, being a long time user of non-snapshot uSync, I love the idea of this package. I just wanted to check if it works with Umbraco 7.3 though. I'm working with a customer at the moment who definitely doesn't want to upgrade at the moment.
When I go to install the package with nuget, it wants to upgrade my Umbraco.Core and Umbraco.Cms packages to 7.4. Is this a necessity or will it work without upgrading?
I haven't tested it but i think even with the right libraries it won't work.
Snapshots is reliant on the usync back office and core libraries to get comparisons right (in the latest version lots of work went into getting property orders and the like right for exports between sites)
The versions of those libraries used are built for 7.4 and support things like folders in doctypes and datatypes. if you try and put those versions on to 7.3 you get a YSOD when they try to find folders.
In theory it might work with the 'older' 3.0.4 versions of usync, but i can't guarantee it won't spot more changes than have actually happened.
Does it work with Umbraco 7.3?
