ClientArea

ClientArea is a free package for creating Client Area's within Umbraco. This package installs a sample site that contains multiple Client Areas (or members areas).

PLEASE NOTE - This package is for version 4.0 only, however similar functionality exists within http://our.umbraco.org/projects/starter-kits/standard-website

This includes login/logout functionality and user details display.  All output is via xslt and addition member data is accessible via xslt extensions; this allows the developer full control over the html, including multiple html forms on a single asp.net page.

The client area pages are unique to each area and editors have full control over content.

The idea behind this package is two-fold, firstly to educate those new to Umbraco member security, secondly to provide xslt-based membership management in Umbraco. There are a number of other membership controls for Umbraco, but most have some sort of fixed markup and all require a ASP.NET form on the page.
