LocalGov Starter Kit

The Local Gov Starterkit has been built to give you a starting point, if you want to build a large service based website (useful even if you’re not building a localgov site).

The kit offers a set of basic templates and example content to quickly get you upto speed with umbraco.

Gateway Pages
Venues,
Content
Contact
A-z, sitemaps, search
some other little helpers

The kit also comes with support for

Maps,
Opening Times
News and Events

The starter kit is built on a foundation of Bootstrap 3, with minimal styling so it's easy to configure and change as you need.

After the starter kit installs it will give you the option to import content, you can install the example content, or the LGNL/SGNL structure. This is good if you want to understand how it all fits together - you might not want to do that on a site where you want your own structure.

v6.0.2 - Minor update to Content Importer for 7.5 (will still work on older v7.x)

v5.0: Works with the latest umbraco installs (v7.2.6 and above). if you are on older versions of umbraco, the older kits are here, but if you are starting a new project use the lastest version of umbraco!
