Hi have you tired to install this into a V5 install?
Currently the package is for V4 only at the moment, however I have a working site that you can pull down from BitBucket.org and take a look at and learn from.

Hi,

I downloaded the latest version for V5 and when trying to run it I get the following message:

The 'umbraco-default' cache profile is not defined. Please define it in the configuration file.

Is this when you have downloaded my example site or a fresh clean installtion of Umbraco V5?

If it is to do with a clean install, I think your question may be better off in the dedicated V5 forum:

But I can try to help you anyway. Sounds like something is missing from the web.config file in the root of the website.
Where did you download the V5 files from?

I downloaded from your bit bucket link above.  I clicked on the latest version link and clicked on get source.  I assume this is the latest code in here?

I'm new to umbraco so could be getting it all wrong.

Ah ok sounds like there is an issue with my example starter kit code.

But to download a fresh copy of Umbraco V5, I would recommend you download Umbraco from Codeplex here:
http://umbraco.codeplex.com/ 

In the meantime I will look into the problem you was having with my example starter site and see what the issue is
