    Cannot find ContentPlaceHolder 'SW_MasterContentPlaceHolder'

    Hi

I just installe the Standard Website MVC starterkit (0.9.5). When I try to visit the homepage I get an YSOD:

Cannot find ContentPlaceHolder 'SW_MasterContentPlaceHolder' in the master page '/masterpages/SW_Master.master', verify content control's ContentPlaceHolderID attribute in the content page.

I guess this is something easy to fix, but I expected this to work just out of the box.

    greetings,

    Anthony

    Hi Anthony,

You need to update the defaultRenderingEngine flag in umbracoSettings.config "MVC" before you install the package.

    Cheers

    Chris

I changed the defaultRenderingEngine node in umbracoSettings.config to "Mvc". Things are working better now :)

greetings and thanks for this great starter kit,

    Anthony

    Hello

I have the same problem; I tried to follow your suggestion (update the defaultRenderingEngine flag in umbracoSettings.config), but I don't have this flag in the config file. I have installed Umbraco 4.7.

    Thanks in advance
