    Login and CLient Area

Yust looking at ambraco and your example website. Looks great. One question however, I do not understand how the login works. Which users are taken? I tried several but none of them works. Is a user someone from users section of Umbraco or should it be made first somewhere else?

    Hi adarsh,

Members are created in the Members section, you can create new members with your own username/password in there.

I would recommend you watch http://umbraco.com/help-and-support/video-tutorials/umbraco-fundamentals/members/introduction-to-members although I think this requires a subscription.

Definitely start with the free videos http://umbraco.com/help-and-support/video-tutorials/introduction-to-umbraco

The membership system is based on the standard ASP.NET membership provider model. The majority of settings are controlled in the webconfig.
