I tried it in the version 1.36. Search is not working. Easy to reproduce. just install ublogsby on plain umbraco 4.7.1
I think this is a bug.

Can you make sure that /app_data and all its files files are NOT "read only". Then delete your umbraco.config and examine indexes. Then publish.

I have checked permissions (which Provirders should have elevated security acccess? Just to be sure), cleaned out App_Data of TEMP and umbraco.config, and the search still doesn't work. The blog flashes and returns be to the index.
Any help would be great.

Search is not working in a simple brand new installation
