"Empty" template files on clean install

    Umbraco 6.1.6, uBlogsy 3.0.1.

After I install I can load up the blog and can create new posts (as a test). That's all fine. When I go to edit templates, they just load up as blank files though. All I see is "1." as in "Line 1" but no text. Other templates (I've manually created) load fine. I can create child templates in uBlogsy and they are created with visible text, but any created on install are blank, or seem blank. Permissions somewhere? Tried removing and reinstalling, same result. I am able to write stuff into these files and hit save, but want to know if there's some underlying problem before carrying on.

    Thanks for any help,

same here, very annoying. It looks as if the macro's aren't installed correctly either. Maybe because I started a ASP.Net project in VS, nugetted Umbraco v6 in and published to azure? Anyone had this problem and knows a fix?

    Thanks, Chris

The umbraco package engine has some random issues sometimes.

I find that switching to mvc, then restaring the app pool after a full shutdwon normally has no problems.

Yeah, that was my problem too. After switching to Mvc, I found that most things went normal. Just to be sure, I started over anew and set Mvc before installing uBlogsy. Love your package Anthony!

    Regards, Chris
