Hi. I have updated 6.1.0 to 6.1.6 and preview stopped working.
I have filed a bug here: http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-3943 , I think Umbraco developers have broken something / made something incompatible during 6.1.0 to 6.1.6, but maybe you can just fix it with a new library version or something?
UPDATE: I'm not sure everything I said in issue link above is right. After repeating everything countless times, it turned out not everything I said could be reproduced.
