Content not refreshing with U7.1 install into existing site
Hi,
I have an existing 7.1 Umbraco installation, which I wanted to use to host an existing site and a uBlogsy blog site side by side. The installation has worked fine (albeit with the empty post issue) and I have a second root node with the blog along side the original one for the existing site.
The problem is that content posted in the backoffice does not appear in the blog site until I recycle the IIS App Pool, or rebuild the project in Visual Studio. Content is still refreshed correctly in the original site, just not in the uBlogsy one.
I have a tried a clean uBlogsy installation into a clean Umbraco 7.1 installation and content is refreshed correctly in that scenario, so it must be something to do with the side-by-side setup.
I'm a seasoned .NET dev, but I'm afraid I'm pretty new to Umbraco, so I'm hoping there's something simple that someone with more experince of Umbraco or uBlogsy can enlighten me on.
I have been playing around with different options and the issue seems to actually be when there are multiple things involved. That statement is purposely ambiguous as I have tried various set ups as described below:
On a fresh Umbraco v7.1 setup I have tried 2 [uBlogsy] Site Home nodes, each with a [uBlogsy] Landing below it. In this case only the first of the two 'blogs' has it's content correctly refreshed when a new post is added. I.e. in the first blog I publish a post and it is immediately visible on the site, and the direct link to it from the Umbraco backoffice works. However if I publish a post in the second blog it does not show up on the site, and I get a 404 error if I use the "Link to document" in the backoffice.
I have also tried a similar setup with a single Site Home node with two Landing nodes below it. Again the behaviour is the same, where the first blog refreshes the content correctly, but the second doesn't.
I presume this is actually the same behaviour I was seeing yesterday when I tired to use uBlogsy in my existing umbraco installation. i.e. the uBlogsy Site Home node would have been the second root level node, and content was not being refreshed.

Any ideas?
