Search results returns site results as well

    Hello

Is it possible to return results from the entire site, not just from uBlogsy? Would I have to update Examine? Thanks!

    Hi Phillip,

I donĀ“t know is it possible to configure the search to return results from the entire site, not just from uBlogsy. Alternatively you could try to have a look at the ezSearch package developed by Matt Brailsford https://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/ezsearch

With this package you can configure which document types and fields that should be searchable.

Hope this can be a solution for you.

    /Dennis

Okay, I've used ezSearch before. Will try that out. Thanks.

Rats. The site is using an older version of Umbraco that isn't supported by ezSearch (4.9.0). I should probably perform an upgrade, right? I don't see version-specific instructions here unfortunately.

    Hi Phillup Ng

Not necessarily - If you can't use ezSearch then you can consider using XSLT search instead https://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/xsltsearch

ezSearch is the replacement for XSLT search in newer versions of Umbraco so to speak. So I think XSLT search can fulfill your purpose.

XSLTsearch worked like a charm. Thank you!
