I thought it did that as I've used uBlogsy before on another site but assumed it had been changed in the newer version.
I'm using Umbraco 4.7.1.1 and uBlogsy 2.0.0.1. When I create a blog post from the dashboard it just puts it under the landing page. When I create one under the year it leaves it where it is instead of putting it in the month.
No auto folders is disabled as it threw an error if I omitted dayFormat. Hence my reason for the topic, I wanted to enable auto date folders but without the day.
Sorted by year then month but not day
Would it be possible so you could organise posts by year and month but not day. I tried just omiting the dayformat but got an error.
Are you talking about when the posts are listed on the landing page or the way they are organised in the content tree?
Can you give me an example of what you mean?
Listed on the content tree like
2011
-- January
----- Post 1
-- February
------ Post 2
-- March
------ Post 3
2012
-- January
------ Post 4
------ Post 5
That is what it should do by default.
Which versions of ublogsy and umbraco are you using?

Have you enabled auto date folders?
See the file /config/ublogsy.config
I should have been clearer in my original post:/

Ah
Right.
The auto date folders only does it with days. Sorry.
There are other date folder packages which you could try. Just make sure you keep the ublogsy one disabled.
