I just installed the newest Umbraco download, which came with the uBlogsy 1.32 starter kit. Are there instructions for upgrading to 1.33 (or 1.4 beta)? I would hate to lose the work that I've already put into it.
Upgrading to 1.33 is as simple as replacing the .dll files.
1.4 (to be actually 2.0 due to the sweeping changes and new features) will be a bit more tricky. The easiest way is to make a package of your content, then uninstall uBlogsy. There are some doctype name changes so you'll need to change the doctype names in the xml file. Install the new uBlogsy, then your content package.
Thank you Anthony for the quick reply. Upgrading to 1.33 sounds easy enough. We will be launching this on a large enterprise level. Therefore, we have some more questions before we get in too deep.
1. Do you have any thoughts about when 2.0 will become available?
2. Will we be able to retain our data (blog posts) when upgrading from 1.33 to 1.4 or 2.0?

Hi Eric
To answer your questions...
1. v2.0 should be coming in the next few weeks. I should have a beta out next week. v1.4 is basically the pre-beta of 2.0. Not much has changed.
2. Upgrading using the method I mentioned previously will allow you to retain your blog posts.
Thank you Anthony. You've been extremely helpful!
