    RSS import doesn't import images

The RSS import feature is great, but it leaves images on the old blog server. So, if using it as a migration tool, everything seems fine until the old server is taken offline, whereupon all the images disappear.

That is correct. It only gets the text that is in the rss. Do these images show up in the markup when you look at the feed xml (not the html, the XML)?

Yes indeed, the images do show up in the RSS feed. As hyperlinks to the images, which are stored on the original blog server (Community Server). Internet explorer is smart enough to render them inline, Googel Chrome doesn;t render the images but they are still present in the RSS xml.

It'd be handy to clone the images so the original server can be taken offline.
