For me your structure is correct, I am using Ublogsy in the exact same way/structure in an existing site. Can i ask why there is no link to the blog in the main nav?
Stephen: There is a link to the blog in the footer, and the 2 latest posts are prominently featured on the home page. It's the how the design 'ended up'.
Anthony: option 1 seems enticingly simply. I like it.
I'll try to post the url again: www.mydomain.com /landing /blog /year /month /thePost.aspx
I'd like to be able to have no '/landing' in the url i.e. www.mydomain.com /blog /year /month /thePost.aspx It is easier to read and more intuitive for the 'non-tech' user.
Is this possible without changing the node structure?
How to alter the URL without changing site structure?
I've thought to use swfaddress, urlredirection, or urlalias, but I seem to get only more confused.
Currently my site will access a blogpost using the url: http://www.mydomain.com/blog/blog/2011/thePost.aspx
(my node structure is below)
-- Home
-- uBlogsy - Landing (nodename = blog)
-- uBlogsy - Folder : Blog (nodename = blog)
-- uBlogsy - Folder : Year (nodename = 2011)
How can I (without restructuring the site) access a blogpost with this url instead (without duplicate '/blog/blog/' )
http://www.mydomain.com/blog/2011/thePost.aspx ?
Sorry this is a little hard to follow...your links are coming through with spans??

Hi Adam
2 options
1. I would rename the 2nd blog to posts.
2. Move your year folders to the landing node - ie. Don't use the uBlogsyFolderBlog node.
Thanks for your replies.

Go with option 2.
Cheers. I'll give that a try.
Anthony, that was the solution I needed. Cheers!
I moved the Year folders to the landing node and took out the uBlogsyFolderBlog node.
