Does ublogsy support ping xmlrpc to servers? clicking around I can't see it in the package.
If not, is it possible to hook into the post routine and ping?

That is not implemented but would be super easy to do so.
Create a textbox property which you paste links into.
Create an event hook for the after publish event. Iterate over the list of links to send your pings.
