One this you should notice if you choose the SmartBlog package is that you need to use SQL Server, the package is not compatible with the embedded SQLCE database, if I remember correct.
The next blog package that I think that you should know is the http://our.umbraco.org/projects/starter-kits/articulate I think this has become very popular. And this will also work with Umbraco 7. It is Shannon Deminick from the Umbraco HQ that has made the package.
Unfortunatelly the Tagsy part seems to be out of sync. We have some serious issues with that. Should we be using that at all? (see the other questions related to this). We got some angularjs issues and other strange stuff.
As per the original Question. Do you plan to maintain this?
Is this plugin still active?
It looks like the activity of this plugin is more or less dead so I wonder if this has migrated into something new?
Hi Marcus,
The uBlogsy package can run in Umbraco 7. When this said. There are also other blog packages for Umbraco. And the first one I would provide to you is SmartBlog https://our.umbraco.org/projects/starter-kits/smart-blog.

The package is supported by the SQLCE database.
Hope this helps,
