    Failed to retrieve content data for id xxxx

    Hello everyone,

    I just experience the error message "Server Error: Contact administrator, see log for full details. Failed to retrieve content data for id XXXX."

    I didn't change anything to this page, but if I click on any of the page elements (1 gallery, 1 text, 1 placeholder), I receive the error message above. The page is working on the website, but I can't change it.

    The log doesn't say anything about that (at least the log I can see on Umbraco / App-Data / Logs).

    Does anyone have an idea?

    It looks like it's an Umbraco issue, not a starter kit issue.

    Maybe this will help, some possible causes are referenced in the thread.

    Hi Sotiris,

    Thanks a lot for the link.

    Although I didn't understand everything (and my problem was another), I think I found the reason for the error message: The page title included a German umlaut, which of course doesn't work for URLs. After changing this, it works (at least for the moment).
